From Oregon Flora, Gardening with Natives:
Narrowleaf onion makes a cheerful addition to the rock garden, meadowscape, or dry corner of the pollinator garden. Its characteristic umbel inflorescences of white to bluish pink flowers bloom on leafless scapes after the grasslike basal leaves have withered. This small onion forms lovely drifts that buzz with pollinator activity when in full flower.
