From Oregon Flora, Gardening with Natives:

Oregon lily (Columbia lily) has multiple nodding orange flowers with maroon spots that branch off the perennial’s tall, slender stalks. Speckled tepals curve back toward the stem, and the extended anthers turn maroon with age. The leaves of Oregon lily fan in a whorled cluster at the base of the stem, while smaller, pointed leaves dot the stem. A somewhat hard-to-find treasure in the wild, this flower will delight human and hummingbird visitors alike to any woodland or meadow garden with moist soils and high organic content.
