One of our most stunning and underrated woodland lilies with showy white or pale yellow nodding flowers. Flowers grow up in early Spring from a pair of thick, green leaves mottled with brown or white spots (like those of a fawn). Does well in dappled shade, but tolerates some sun too. Fawn lily gradually spreads outward and forms large colonies. It also goes dormant early in the year, so it is best planted with other, later-blooming perennials.
